4 Promising Time Management Tips for Introverts Everywhere - Introvert Whisperer
Introvert Whisperer / 4 Promising Time Management Tips for Introverts Everywhere - Introvert Whisperer 4 Promising Time Management Tips for Introverts Everywhere Managing time when youre an introvert can be hard sometimes because of the distractions and pressure that comes your way. Being an introvert is not that easy because you are continually living in a world where your socialization is being done by everybody, which can be a problem for you since youre not used to socializing with other people. Managing your time can also be challenging because you will have to do things that are outside your comfort zone. Those things can have a significant impact on you, making you less productive. There are many ways you can do to manage your time without being stressed too much. Here is a list of 5 things an introvert can do to manage your time. Set a Time For Important Things If youre an introvert and youre having problems managing your time, the best thing you can do is to set aside time for important things such as chores and other important things. By doing this, you will not be confused anymore at what time you need to finish them all, and you can have more time doing other important stuff. Setting a time for doing essential things can be very fun as well. You will be more productive in the morning because your body and mind are not tired yet. After doing all the tasks that you planned on doing, you should also set a time for other things that will help you relax and rest. You can spend the rest of the day reading books or playing your favorite sport. Take a Moment to Nap Sleeping all day is one of the things that most people do. But sleeping too much will not help you accomplish things. You will need to have a proper sleep so that you wont be sleepy when you wake up. You can take a nap now and then to help you refresh your body. Having a good sleep or nap can make you more productive. If you have plans to go out and socialize with other people, you should set aside a time to nap at least an hour or two before you go to the said event so that you will be energized and you can interact with them appropriately without yawning or frowning in front of them. Having a proper rest can help you function properly. Have the Courage to Invite Friends Going out with friends can be fun but also tiring as well. If you want to enjoy without worrying about where to go next, you can try inviting your friends to your home and do fun things such as watching movies, having a game night, and cooking your favorite meals. You dont have to be alone in your comfort zone, you can always call someone to be with you. Inviting friends to your house is also one of the effective ways to avoid interacting with other people in public. Youll be able to move freely, and youll have more confidence in interacting with your friends because you know that you are in a place where you can be yourself without other people judging you. Set a Day for Yourself You dont have to tire yourself every day by doing tasks such as cleaning. You should pick a day every week to do all the things that can make you happy. You should also treat yourself by eating in your favorite restaurants, buying clothes, and going to places that help relaxes you. You dont have to worry about the things you need to do at home, you need to enjoy yourself. Theres no need for you to be pressured during that day. All you have to do is take your time and have fun. Trying new things is also a good idea. You need to spend the rest of the day without stressing yourself with the problems at home. Takeaway Introverts might be less socialize active than other people, but they still experience the same problems ordinary people do. They also face struggles in life, which can be worse for their part since most of them are okay being alone. Times like these can be confusing, thats why setting aside time for doing things is essential. These four examples are just a few of the things you can do to manage your time correctly. You can also ask other introverts for advice and tips on time management. Managing your time to complete tasks should be your number one priority Author Bio

How To Decide Which Word Processor To Use IT For Beginners: Tips For Choosing Software ChaptersThe Function: The Universal Basic Features Of Word Processing SoftwareThe Cost: Do You Prefer Free Or Paid Software?Your Feeling: What Do You Want To Use It For? And How Do You Want To Work?IT for beginners is everywhere these days, all you need to know is which software to download or which website to visit, and you will be guided with tooltips through the software, app or website. Some pieces of software even give you a virtual tour of your software so that you can feel as though you at least know how to manoeuvre to achieve the basics. Once you have had a look through the piles of software options how do you make the choice about which software is for you? It can easily be overwhelming and leave you feeling like either not making a choice or just choosing the first pc software within reach rather than what is best for you.However, there are 2 points to consider; the first is once you get used to software it can feel a bit odd for a while when you move on to use another. So it always worth taking the time to select the software that suits you best. The second point is that although all software differs slightly more or less, the software has the same functionality.One point is about the basics of your required functionality, and the other is about feeling. When you are making choices to integrate anything into your life, these are the 2 key points that will help you to choose. In this case, they will help you to select your word processing software. For example, I use three word-processing softwares; MS word, MS OneNote and Google Docs. Each serves a different purpose for me depending on what it is that I want to do.So as you see, pushing yourself to pick just one piece of software may not be the answer. Eventually, you could end up selecting software based on the things you like about it and how it fits into your lifestyle. Letâs take a look at some ideas of how you can choose the best software for you.Before investing in new software make sure it covers your needs. For example, if you have issues remembering to save then you need a program with autosave functionality, if the spelling is your weakness then you will need a tool that has a good spell checker, If you canât type due to a disability, then you must ensure that your software has accessibility options. No matter what, especially before investing in new software make sure it covers your needs. Knowing what it is that you need and what it is that you want to use the software for can go a long way in helping you to fine-tune your selection.Most software has the following features:Create text documents such as writing letters, reports, documents and articles with visual layouts.Live note taking such as taking notes during meetings or conferences,Multimedia presentations for seminars, visual presentations.or talks, using pictures, links, layout and text formatting.These functions are relatively basic PC software standards but meet the needs of most users. However, depending on your level of PC skills, you may have additional requirements or fewer requirements. For example, to get started with word processing as a beginner on the computer you donât really need to invest in expensive software as free software will meet all of your needs. You do not even need to have the latest version of MS Word.But of course, your needs are only part of the story when selecting the b est software. As your preference actually makes up a huge part of your desition.Read more about the different PC shortcuts here.The Cost: Do You Prefer Free Or Paid Software?When choosing my software, I decided to buy the Microsoft office suite which also came with MS OneNote bundled in. It wasnât cheap, but it was the software that I prefer to use, more importantly, it was software that allowed me to be extremely productive.MS Word industry standard for word processing software in offices around the world. Photo Source: UnsplashMS Word (Paid)Microsoft Word is the grandfather of all word processing applications. Additionally, it is the industry standard for word processing software in offices around the world. From the post office to the government, from the train station office to the bank. It has a stable infrastructure which has an intuitive menu which allows you to find things quickly, optimise for no distraction working, or collaborate with your team via the cloud.The benefit of MS word is that it is suitable for everyone, it is feature rich, but those features don't have to be used. You can choose to create simple or complex documents learning the basics as you go. The downside is that while there is an integrated spell checker, it is not the best. But (another upside) because you can personalise your software with add ons. A tool like Grammarly integrates well. Which allows you to have software that will gently lead you into the word processing world and grown with you as you gain confidence and skills in your document creation.MS Word is great for:Creating official or professional documents or lettersWriting long-form content like blog posts or booksCreating PDF documentsOpening files from other softwareFormatting and editingUsing templatesKey features of MS Word:Type and format textOpen, edit, save and print a documentOpen documents from other softwareCloud support and collaborative optionsAvailable for all operating systemsOther Software Like MS Wo rd:Libre Office (Free, open source)Open Office (Free, open source)Pages (Free, Mac only)Google Docs (Free)WPS Office (Free, open source)OneNote (Free)Onenote is an epic virtual notebook that I use more than any other office software. You can paste a picture into it from all over the web, print documents to it, create reports, write! No not type actually write (if your laptop has a touch screen) on it and use it as an actual handwritten notebook. You can open new notebooks which organise your content into themes.Within your notebooks you create sections, and within your notebook's sections, you have pages. Each which help you further organises. The benefit of OneNote is that you can use it anywhere, online, offline, on your pc, on your tablet, your phone, on your friend's laptop. As long as you can log into your account which you can save in the cloud if you require multi-location access. Onenote also autosaves your work so you literally never lose anything. The only downside can be if you forget your log in and for some reason canât log back into the software.Onenote is great for:Creative text document creationBookmarkingResearch and collating informationNote takingBrainstormingOrganising contentKey features of OneNote:Type and format textOpen, edit, save as new file type and print notebooks, sections and pagesOpen multiple windowsCloud support and collaborative optionsPreview sections and pagesScreen printing, web page clippingAuto reference inserted contentHandwriting and drawing featuresUse on any device via Software and AppOther Software Like Onenote:Evernote (Limited free account, Paid premium account)Google Keep (Free)Laverna (Free, Open source)The good thing about free software is that it is free and in many cases almost as good as or equally as good as its free alternatives. Paid software is good if you have specific requirements or if you need to use specific software. Also Paid software is likely to be maintained and actively developed. The decisio n here comes down you your wallet.The great thing is that you have lots of options and your final choice doesn't have to be one piece of software that does it all. Photo Source: UnsplashYour Feeling: What Do You Want To Use It For? And How Do You Want To Work?Whether you want to do some Note taking, Write letters, manage collaborations online or offline, Write a blog or Write a book. You will be using word processing software. But the great thing is that you have lots of options and your final choice doesn't have to be one piece of software that does it all.If you choose to you can pick one software to serve all of your needs. Or you can pick different software to suit each of the requirements that you have. Software to make professional documents, software for note taking, software for writing your book, You word processing is up to you, and you can be as creative about it as you want to be.Maybe you will open MS word and hate the layout and prefer libre office instead, Perhaps you want always to be connected to your documents over many devices, so you might choose Google Docs and install the app on your phone. The feeling you have when you try the software is not something that you can be told about it is something you will know once you have tried the software. In the end, the final decision about the software that you choose will not be down to the research that you do about it. But it will come from downloading, trying a software, liking it and deciding to integrate it into the software on your PC. Whatever you choose, happy typing and donât forget to press save!

Basic Arithmetic, Equations and Examples
Basic Arithmetic, Equations and Examples Common Arithmetic Questions at Each Maths Level ChaptersArithmetic Laws and DefinitionsExamples Arithmetic at Different LevelsOnline Arithmetic Resources and Private TutorsFrom elementary math to high school math and beyond, arithmetic is a branch of maths that is present in mathematics courses at every stage of our academic life. For many around the world, however, topics in the hard sciences like math and science can often seem like insurmountable obstacles. With basic math becoming ever more important in todayâs economy, the word problems and math skills that plagued us in the classroom are playing an increasing role outside of academia.Mastering basic arithmetic skills is something the UK has historically been unsatisfactory in. In fact, many believe that the UK is undergoing a skills crisis due to low reading and maths scores combined with poor adult training. While understanding arithmetic math concepts is an integral part of job security, it can also play a vital role in empowering your decisions.From politics to housing, maths is deeply entrenched in every important aspect of daily life, which is why many are turning to supplemental instruction in the form of tutoring. Whether youâre looking for an algebra tutor or general maths resources online, hereâs what you need to know about arithmetic as well as some examples you can try at home.Finding UK's most sought maths tutors is easy on Superprof.Whether you're playing an interactive math game online or reading about maths - make sure to practice every day!a + b = b + aa x b = b x aYou can remember this law because of the word âcommute,â because no matter the combination of numbers, these groups of numbers always âcommuteâ together to the same place, or result. Hereâs a numerical example:2 + 4 = 4 + 26 x 3 = 3 x 6This law also applies to percentages. For example, a% of b is always equal to b% of a. Hereâs the rule in numbers which you can use to verify the rule:3% of 60 = 60% of 3Associative LawThe associative law deals with the fact t hat, no matter how you choose to group an addition or multiplication of numbers, the result is the same. The rule looks like this:(a+ b) + c = a + (b + c)(a x b) x c = a x (b x c)Looking above, you can see that it doesnât matter how we choose to group or âassociateâ two numbers in a big addition or multiplication operation because the result is the same. Here is a numerical example:(2 + 4) + 3 = 2 + (4+3) which leads to 6 + 3 = 2 + 7(3 x 3) x 4 = 3 x (3 x 4) which leads to 9 x 4 = 3 x 12One of the reasons why this law is important is because often, it is easier or sometimes necessary to rearrange these numbers in a different order.Distributive LawThe distributive law is a bit more complicated but is probably the law that is used most often. It deals with the fact that when multiplying an addition of numbers, you can distribute the multiplier to each number being added first. In other words:a x (b + c) = a x b + a x cAs exampled above, the a is âdistributedâ to both b and c first and then both numbers are added. Again, these kinds of operations can make an operation easier. Hereâs an example:3 x (8 + 9) is easier to solve when rearranged as 3 x 8 +3 x 9Hereâs another way of using the same law in reverse:Instead of solving 13 x 6 + 13 x 4 you can solve 13 x (6 + 4)Learning more can often mean taking math instruction into your own handsExamples Arithmetic at Different LevelsFrom subjects like trigonometry to concepts like inequalities and linear equations, arithmetic is a vital skill for most math classes at every level. Whether youâre searching for a math tutor or are building your own progress plan, understanding the type and which level of arithmetic youâre struggling with can give you a better chance of achieving your academic and skill goals.Elementary LevelMath class at the elementary level involves many basic concepts that are the core standards you will use to build upon in more advanced math. One of the best examples of this can be seen through decimals.Decimals have many practical purposes, but the main way in which people learn the decimal is through fractions. In any maths program, you are likely to find some of the following examples.0.2 = 2/10 = 1/50.25 = 2/10 + 50/100 = 25/100 = 1/4Using the rules and concepts we already know, we can easily see that arithmetic forms the basis of all decimals. Two of the four main arithmetic operations, division and addition, can be used to find the answers. Keep in mind that in the decimal numbers above, the number 2 is in the tenths position while the number 5 is in the hundredths.Middle School LevelAt the middle school level, arithmetic gets another boost. Whether itâs 7th grade or 8th grade curriculum, some of the most common concepts involving arithmetic include square roots, linear equations, polynomial equations and inequalities, systems of equations and quadratic equations.In other words, middle school is filled with algebraic topics that can come in the form of pre -algebra, geometry, and more. Here is an example of one important topic youâre likely to find in middle school arithmetic: simplifying algebraic expressions.3x + 5(x - 6)The first step in this problem is to use the distributive law to get:3x + 5x - 30Next, we can add 3x and 5x together. Taking a quick look again at the distributive law, we can see why:x(3+5) is the same thing as 3x + 5xCombining all the concepts weâve learned, we get the final answer:8x -30From here, we cannot simplify any further.High School LevelMaths at the high school level can vary a lot between students because of the fact that many students do not choose to take some higher level maths courses. Examples of the arithmetic youâre likely to encounter at this level include maths with rational expressions, math logarithms, polynomials, rational functions, exponents and trigonometric concepts.One common example of the arithmetic you can use at this level can be seen through matrices. A matrix is a way of arra nging numbers in columns and rows and has many practical applications in statistics, project management, computer science and more. Hereâs an example of how to find the determinant of a matrix.A = [a b c d]To find the determinant of a 2x2 matrix, we use the following equation: det A = ad â" bc. Try to find the determinant of the following matrix:A = [2 4 6 3]College LevelArithmetic at the college level gets a bit more complex, involved in everything from differential equations to probability. A simple example of the arithmetic youâre likely to encounter, hereâs how you can find the probability of two independent events A and B both happening.Letâs say the probability you will read this article up to this point is 1/16 (event A). The probability you will win the National Lottery is 1/45,057,474 (event B). What is the probability that you will read this article up to this point and will win the national lottery? Try calculating at home:Probability (ev ent A and B) = Probability (A) * Probability (B)Need help with plotting integers on a graph? Writing About Your Strengths Without Sounding Arrogant
Writing About Your Strengths Without Sounding Arrogant ACT SAT Prep and College Admissions Blog Weâre taught to be modest â" not to brag or talk too much about ourselves. But when you write your college essay, youâre forced to do the exact opposite, and that shift can make students uncomfortable. Itâs hard to strike the right tone in writing or speaking about yourself, especially when youâre discussing something at which you excel. Here are some tips on how to write about your accomplishments without bragging (hint: theyâreallabout showing rather than telling). Show what youâve learned Talking about your achievements shouldnât be a list. It should be a discussion. Focus on just one - or a few - accomplishments instead of listing every single one, and then give more details and context to measure your success. What skills have you developed as a result of excelling at an academic subject, a sport, or hobby? What happened the first time you tried, and how is it different now that youâre more experienced? If you naturally excelled from the start, how have you managed to keep challenging yourself and to hold your interest over time? If you didnât succeed at first, what kept you from giving up? Show why you succeeded What was it about you in particular that allowed you to succeed? Was it your tenacity? Your mental focus? Your preparation? Consider your strengths and weaknesses and what it was about you that pushed you over the top. Donât express negative opinions of other people and their lack of motivation or skills. Discuss which positive attributes helped you, and which obstacles to success you were able to overcome (and how). Show cause and effect Simply saying that youâre great at something can come across as arrogant, exaggerated, or unable to be confirmed. If you are going to write about excelling in an activity, sport, or academic subject, tell us exactlyhowyou did so. What was the result of your involvement? Did your campaign for healthier food lead to changes in the school lunch menu? Did your leadership help your team win enough games to get to the playoffs for the first time in school history? Did your writing win an award or get published somewhere? In short, what was theresultof you flourishing at an activity? Did you receive an opportunity to further explore this skill, perhaps in the form of a grant or an internship? Show gratitude Who helped you get to where you are? A teacher or a coach who encouraged your natural ability and pushed you to work harder? Your parents, who supported your interests and drove you to practice early in the morning or late at night? Are you fortunate enough to have the resources and time to devote to practicing your skill? Acknowledging the contributions of others to your success shows maturity and humility. Show growth Even if youâve been a natural since the first time you picked up a baseball bat (or put on toe shoes, or picked up a paintbrush, etc.), youâve surely grown as youâve continued to practice. What have you learned over time? What do you appreciate about this activity? What effect does it have on your temperament or self-esteem? How has your view of this activity changed as youâve matured? How have you taken the lessons of one activity and applied them to other areas of your life? Considering the answers to these questions will help you share your accomplishments without seeming egotistical. Be proud of what youâve done and who you are, but be thoughtful about how you express that pride. hbspt.cta._relativeUrls=true;hbspt.cta.load(215486, 'a519c073-790d-4c67-b0fd-7095f1869478', {});

Overcome the Summer Learning Loss before getting Back-to-School
Overcome the Summer Learning Loss before getting Back-to-School Intoxicating summer adventures are almost over and September is on the horizon, so dont waste your time during the back to school season! Presumably, youve already bought all significant equipment for studying such as school stationery, uniforms or backpacks. But have you prepared your brain to a new school year? Actually, it turned out that a very lively summer is a risk for academic failure! Analysts claim that summer holidays is one of the culprits of learning loss, because students generally donât keep in touch with their teachers and donât engage in any educational events. The loss in learning differs conforming to the score level, subject matter, and family income. Commonly, results of the same standardized tests at the end of the summer are lower than they were at the beginning. All students lose intellectual skills over the course of the summer. Notably , the degree of this loss depends on the family socioeconomic status (SES). The lower the SES the larger the drop of skills. Experts assert that two-third of high school students, who have performance gap in reading and language, had learning loss that took place on summer vacation of the primary school years. To avoid destructive effects of summer vacation, take yourself by the hand in back to school season and find a tutor to help you with summer nausea. If you want to excel among your group mates and become a real maven in Chemistry, Economics or Computer Programming, find a proffesional tutor in your nearby at TutorZ and surprise your teachers in the new academic year!
